The evolution of the internet technology has changed everyone’s life, including you and me. Gone are the days where you need to get out of your house to buy household grocery, personal stuff or simply making any purchases; you just need a computer and internet connection. Similarly, making a living through computer and internet are also getting popular. There are more and more people working online, busy making money. It is no longer a dream to work from your home. Making money online is a reality.

Now, before you start to ask me how, let me tell you. There are many ways to make money online; creating website, start a blog, online survey, selling eBooks, digital reports, newsletters, software or simply any product that might interest anyone, freelance writing, anything. Anything is possible. Go take a look at those funny and strange item people are selling on eBay, craigslist and if you think that probably nobody will want to buy those stuffs, well, you will be surprised, there are.

So, there are many ways of making money online and I know that you will probably feel confused, lost and don’t know how to start and what to do. I understand. I went through that.

When I started to look for ways to make extra money to supplement my daytime job, the first place I go to is the internet, simply because I know there are unlimited potential to making money online. I believe you have heard of people making millions yearly on the internet, and you aspire to be one of them, don’t you?

So, I get online several years back and to be frank, I learn things the hard ways in those earlier years. I do research, read up internet website about how to make money online and yes, I fork out money to buy numerous get rich programs and ebooks. Some of those programs come with pre-built website, which are actually paid by me when I buy hosting (I understand after quite awhile online). All these programs promised me that I will make money if I followed their instructions and so I buy their ideas and followed, happily thinking that the money will start rolling in. The money never comes.

Feeling despair and thinking that maybe the next program will work, I moved on to the next one and after several experiment and forking out quite a big sum of money, I finally understand that it is not that simple to make money online. The most import factor is missing. TRAFFIC.

Yes, the magic word is traffic. You can create superb interactive, wonderful and fantastic website. You can write solid, top quality, unique articles. You can start a blog and blogging about your special expertise and experience. All these will probably make you a high quality and great website, but, ultimately, without traffic, your website will probably have a handful of visitor and reader. You and maybe your friends and family. That won’t make your money.

It takes me quite a while before I realized that and why I was not making any money on the internet.

Then, knowing that traffic will probably help to make money online is one thing, how to implement or tackle it is another thing. To put it in simple word, how to attract traffic is the most difficult part. How do you let people know your website? How will they reach your site? Will you pay money to attract people? And how these people that visit your website will make your money?

Confusing? Well, there are more to come. Believe me, learning how to make money online is not as simple as making purchase or buying stuffs online. You will want to know what is Adwords, Adsense program, affiliate marketing, search engine optimization or SEO, backlinks, keyword, page rank, search engine and many others.

Reality is, even after you know about all the terms and understand about the whole cycle, you will still probably make zero or little money on the internet. Don’t be surprise at that. There are many fellow internet marketers that been around for quite a while but, they are making peanuts.

Discourage hearing that? Well, the money is out there for you, it is up to you. Just be reality and don’t expect to earn big money in a short period of time. As you keep working on your website and project, the longer it is, the chances of your making it is higher.

So, what is this how to make money online site about?

Frankly, I don’t know what to do with this domain. It was bought quite sometimes back, is aged, with a few articles, with quite a decent pagerank and some backlinks (I will talk about aged domain, pagerank and backlinks some other days). It was lying around and I has no idea or rather yet to decide how to develop it until recently. Recently, I come across some articles and debates about make money online and it seem like there are some conclusion that making money online is a difficult niche to target. Also, there seems to be common understanding that there is little money associated with making money site.

To date, I have built up quite a nice income monthly from several websites that targeted at very low competition niches and so far, I have not built any site about make money online. Therefore, I don’t know how truth it is about the difficult in conquer this niche and to find out, I guess the only way is to start a money site. So, here we go, I decided to try it out and see if this site is able to pull in enough money as like my other sites. Then again, while reading or browsing this site, what are the things that you will learn?

Firstly, this site is currently not ranked in any search engine, be it Google, Yahoo or MSN, for how to make money online, make money blogging and all other related make money terms. So, the long term target is to develop this site to rank as high as possible and with multiple different combination of make money terms so that different people can reach my website through the search engine. Now, don’t ask why. I will explain further on another days why it is important to rank high in search engine. For the moment, ranking is the main target and so as you read on, you can see for yourself how this site is going to get rank for the different make money keyword. Once this site is nicely ranked and pull in visitors, you will then probably understand how to develop website and make money online.

As times goes on, I will review some sites as well and tell you about the various ways and methods to make money online and hopefully end of the day, you will learn something here and able to make some money online as well.
